The Thing That People Will Always Remember
This week, when traveling to vacation in Mexico, I heard a flight attendant make a lovely speech.
He was 65 years old and had lost his mom 5 years ago. “Not a day goes by that I don’t miss that woman,” he said. He still has several things in his home that remind him of her.
He told how his mom was so good about providing the family opportunities to make memories. The material things you have in your home don’t matter; neither does it matter how successful you are, or how big your bank account is.
What people will remember about you is how you made them feel. The memories you made with them. That is what they will sit around and talk about at your funeral.
What a great reminder to have fun with your family. Enjoy time with friends.
Have a fabulous week!
