Prayers and Changing Planes
This week I traveled to Atlanta, Georgia. I have changed planes at the airport several times but never had to check in from the outside.
I checked my bag at the curb and the gal behind me was a regular at this airport. We finished about the same time so unbeknownst to her I followed her so I would know where to go.
Eight lines and all were TSA pre-check which did not include me. I asked the airport person where the main check-in line is, and she said north concourse. All I could see were restaurants. This airport definitely earns its name as the largest in the US.
A kind man heard the conversation behind me and pointed out that the area was this way. I asked him if he was going that way, and he replied yes. I replied great, I will follow you!
The man was a fast walker but bless his heart he kept looking back to make sure I was behind him. I followed that man through the entire security process. We parted ways when I went to find my gate.
Dressed nicely, with fancy socks and Italian leather shoes he owned a production facility for automobile parts in Detroit.
Early that morning I had prayed that God would help me get checked in and find my way in the airport while changing planes. My prayer was answered by that nice businessman. He didn’t have to help me, but he did. Angels seem to be in all shapes and sizes.
Always be kind to other people. You never know what your words or kind actions will mean to someone else.
