I am so happy that the weather is warming up! I would much rather be warm than cold. I know many of you might disagree with that!
Spending time outside in nature is my favorite place to be. Feeling the warm sunshine on my skin makes me smile.
Sunshine has many benefits, so let’s talk about a few of those.
As the sun rises in the east, it eliminates the darkness of the night.
It warms the earth, creating an atmosphere for plants, animals, and people to thrive and grow.
It fuels photosynthesis, which helps plants grow and drives the ecosystem.
Your body absorbs sunshine, which stimulates it to produce Vitamin D. This increases calcium absorption, strengthening your bones.
Do you have trouble sleeping? Sunshine can help. The sun helps your body produce more serotonin, improving your sleep-wake cycle.
When you walk outside on a sunny day, can’t you feel your mood improve? It has been proven that sun exposure can make you happier and help you relieve stress. That’s because God designed your body to react to sunshine.
Every day, you can see the same big orange ball of sunshine when you are standing anywhere on Earth. You could be standing in Kansas, Missouri, California, or in a different country like Russia or Spain, and yet you are still looking at the same big orange ball of sunshine.
Wow! Isn’t that amazing?
That big orange ball of sunshine never takes a day off. Has there ever been a day since you were born that the sun didn’t rise, slide across the sky, and set? No, because God is faithful.
Friends, the sunshine is a constant reminder to trust the Almighty Creator. He takes care of you 24/7 and will never leave you alone.
Get outside and enjoy some sunshine!
