I went to the KC zoo this week with my daughter and two granddaughters. I always enjoy hanging out with them. The zoo is very large and wonderful. I definitely got my steps in that day.
We went on a Monday, and my heart was happy because it was so busy. There were so many moms with little ones pushing strollers and pulling wagons around.
I love the idea of teaching young kids the benefits of getting outside and appreciating nature.
Anywhere outside is my favorite place to be. My passion is to get people back outside enjoying nature, especially young people.
