God’s Masterpieces

Sunday was Mother’s Day. This is a celebration honoring the mother of the family or individual playing the role, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. It is celebrated on different days in many parts of the world, most commonly in March or May.

Psalm 139:13-16 reads: “You made my whole being; you formed me in my mother’s body. I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way. What you have done is wonderful. I know this very well. You saw my bones being formed as I took shape in my mother’s body. When I was put together there, you saw my body as it was formed. All the days planned for me were written in your book before I was one day old.”

Everyone begins in the same way, right? Created in your mother’s womb, God created you specifically. You are a masterful work of God, sought out and made on purpose.

God provided the biology and the grace to make you happen. You are a cocktail of DNA that He mixed together. Only God knows exactly why you do what you do.

You were made in His image on purpose, for a purpose. You were formed to reflect God’s love to a hurting world. Until your heart stops beating, God will never be finished with you.

Friend, you are a masterpiece of God. You were created because God Loves You!!

I pray you feel His love this week!
