On the Road, In the Snow

Hello!

Breckenridge, CO, is beautiful this time of year. My farmer husband attended meetings for a few days, so I tagged along for some extra writing time.

I am not a cold-weather person, but the weather cooperated nicely the first few days, with temperatures in the low 40s and high 30s.

The drive to Colorado reminded me how blessed we are that God gifted us with four seasons.

We left our house with 28 degrees and icy sleet. As we journeyed west, the trees and tall grass in the pastures looked spectacular and were coated in shimmering white.

Four hours later, the sun was shining in Cheyenne Wells, CO, and temperatures were 73 degrees.

After another four hours, we arrived in Breckinridge. The mountains were covered with snow, and the temperature was 42 degrees. During our stay, we experienced two days with 8 to 10-inch snowfall.

We are so blessed to live on such a beautiful earth that God designed for us to enjoy.

Enjoy the weather this week, wherever you are!

Have a fabulous week,

Debbie
